Fresh or Frozen Vegetables

We are always in the rush and want to eat fresh vegetables. However, many people don’t believe that Frozen vegetables have the same nutritional value.  Eat your (Frozen) vegetables. Well, you might need to re-evaluate your choices. Researchers at the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences analyzed eight different fruits and vegetables and found that vitamin and mineral content in the produce was the same, if not better, when it was frozen versus sitting in a refrigerator for five days. Therefore, there aren’t any excuses and get your vegetables.
