**Pre-Race Essentials**
– **Clothing & Gear:**
– Tri Suit
– Warm-up Sneakers
– ID and any necessary documents
– Water bottles/Hydration Fluids
– Race Packet (includes racing number, timing chip, etc.)
– Watch or Timing Device
– Plastic Bags (for wet or dirty items)
– Race Belt (for attaching your number)
**Swim Segment**
– Swim Goggles
– Swim Cap (usually provided by race)
– Wetsuit (if water temperature is below 78°F)
– Skin Suit (if water temperature is above 78°F)
– Towel
– Body Glide (anti-chafing agent)
– Bug Spray
– Waterproof Sunscreen (high SPF)
**Bike Segment**
– Bike Helmet (required)
– Cycling Shoes (if applicable)
– Nutrition (Salt Tablets, Gels, Energy Bars)
– Spare Tube, CO2 Cartridges, and Tire Changing Tools
– Body Glide or Chamois Butter (for comfort)
– Chapstick/Lip Balm with SPF
– Bike Tools (a small wrench, if necessary)
– Second Pair of Socks (for long-distance races)
**Run Segment**
– Visor or Running Hat
– Running Shoes (with quick-lace system preferred)
– Handheld Water Bottle or Hydration System
– Additional Nutrition (energy gels or similar)
– Body Glide or Anti-Chafing Stick (for prevention of blisters and rashes)
**Post-Race Essentials**
– Comfortable Clothing for post-race
