How do you dig deep to finish a hard effort? At times, while we are doing a set of exercises or running you feel the burn/pain and right about to give up, you need to push through.
Know when…. to say when. Reaching your potential requires you to push through discomfort – but only to a degree. Recognize when you’re up agains your injury threshold (for example: Your shin starts to hurt after a 20 min run), then avoid crossing it. Feel a twinge? Play it safe and rest (or cross train). The goal is to nip an impending injury in the bud instead of pushing though it.
